So Halo 3 is out on PC now thanks to the Master Chief Collection.Considered perhaps the best game in the franchise, its been remastered for modern hardware that far exceeds the original Xbox 360 for which it was intended. Maybe all of this talk about no Halo 3 remaster is just misleading us so we can get our minds blown. 90+ hours of work went into this project over the last month leading up to the 25th to finish this for Halo 3's 10th Anniversary. I really love the graphics and design, as well as the gameplay. Halo 3’s new flying Skull is pretty sweet, and Halo fans are already figuring out what you can do with it. This game has one of the best campaigns in the series. I really love the elites most in this game, they make you feel better than everyone else. This game is pretty good, the story has amazing dialogue, and memorable characters. It is only the beginning of a wonderful saga. This is due to the fact that Edge “is not ready,” according to Halo community coordinator Tyler Davis.This game has a good story (Reminds me a little bit of the second alien movie), the gameplay is so frustrating at the same time fun, the enemies is intelligent, make you think twice before doing something. With the Halo Infinite release date delayed again, jumping back into some Halo 3 multiplayer is a great way to while away the time before Master Chief’s next-gen debut.Īlthough both have been revealed, only one of the new maps will drop in the next MCC flight, Season 6, as detailed on the Twitch livestream on March 2. The Halo: Master Chief Collection Season 8 patch notes include - among many other things - Halo 3 multiplayer cosmetics, campaign collectibles, and new map Icebox. And yes, it appears that you’ll even have access to the new content if you’re playing MCC via Xbox Game Pass. However, this time around 343 Industries has gone one better: the new maps, Waterfall and Edge, are being given to owners of the Halo Master Chief Collection for free. The maps were later released separately, costing $10. This is the less heavy version without many recommended effects. On PC and Series X, there is raytracing atleast. They should still remaster it even though the graphics have aged well. Halo 3 multiplayer is getting two new maps, 12 years after the game’s last additions. Sadly, there is no chance we will get any anniversary editions of 3, let alone even 4 thanks to MCC, but there may be a chance to improve the assets. 343 confirms in a livestream that only one map, “most likely” Waterfall, will ship with Season 6.
